Emi Sakamoto
Director, Construction
Emi is a LEED Accredited Professional with over 20 years experience working on high profile multi-million-dollar construction projects for both government and private sector clients.
Her past construction project experiences include the Martini Film Studios Early Works, Richmond Olympic Skating Oval, River Green Lot 2 (Phase 1) and River Green Lot 12 (Phase 3) of the Aspac Development in Richmond, Surrey Central City Library, the BC Place Capital Works project for PAVCO, Central (University Boulevard Site B) at UBC, and the Museum of Surrey, among others. Most recently she has been involved in two of our TransLink projects – the Operations & Control Centre (OCC) and the Marpole Transit Centre.
Emi joined SBW as a Senior Project Manager in 2021 and was recently promoted to Director, of Construction. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from UBC in 1998 and her Diploma of Building Engineering Technology from BCIT in 2000.
