Murray Saunders

Murray has been an leader in the local construction industry for over 40 years. He joined SBW as a Labourer in 1972 and became the Executive Vice President in 1988. He currently serves as Vice President & Co-CEO and has an active role in the day-to-day management of SBW and is key in negotiating contracts and handling labour relations. Murray has contributed his rare skillset to many notable projects including the Molson-Coors Brewery in Chilliwack, Molson Brewery Fermentation Facility Expansion, Labatt's Creston Brewhouse Expansion and Fermentation Centre and (non-brewery related projects) the Tilbury LNG Expansion, Redevelopment of the Lynn Valley Care Centre, and the Chevron Low Sulphur Gasoline Project. Murray is a Past Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of the CLRA.  He received a Building Construction Certificate from Vancouver Community College in 1976, a Carpentry Trade Certificate in 1981 and a Better Supervision Certificate in 1996.
