Mark has more than 30 years in the local construction industry. Starting out as an estimator, Mark developed his skills over the years in estimating and progressed on to project & construction management and joined SBW in 2016 as Director of Construction. He has a proven track record of leading the construction of many large and complex projects. Mark’s construction expertise is diverse and he is involved in all aspects of construction operations from pre-construction planning and coordination, risk identification and mitigation, budgeting, tendering and negotiations. Mark’s notable projects include the Vancouver Library Renovation and the renovation/addition to Peace Arch Hospital, Central at Garden City retail development, numerous Canada Line stations and the Main Street Skytrain station, the Aberdeen Centre shopping mall, River Rock Hotel Expansion, Richmond Airport Marriot Hotel and Richmond City Hall. Mark graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree, is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified Passive House Tradesperson.
