Gary Cheema

Gary joined SBW in 2004 after graduating from BCIT.  He initially started as a Project Coordinator with SBW, advancing to Project Manager, Estimator and now Director, Special Projects Group. Gary is responsible for estimating and execution of a variety of Civil, Commercial and Industrial projects that require a compact and focused team to provide our expertise for short durations. His team is organized to execute small scale concrete and civil work, maintenance work, tenant improvements, renovations, seismic upgrades and additions. He strives to provide repeat clients nimble, high quality construction services.

During his career, Gary has worked within various sectors of the construction including, executing projects within the areas of Municipalities, Education, Financial Institutions, Care Homes and Transit to name a few. Some of his notable projects include the West Vancouver Public Services Building, $28M; BC Nurses Union Head Office Expansion, $18M; TransLink Smart Card & Faregate Additions, $6M and various VanCity Credit Union branches throughout the Lower Mainland.
